The source matters
A convincing sound carries evidence of a place, material, and perspective. We capture field recordings with enough context to remain useful, then remove technical distractions without sanding away the character that made the source worth recording.
Built in the edit
Libraries are cut, named, tagged, and tested inside real production sessions. Variations are selected for meaningful differences in timing, intensity, distance, or texture rather than to inflate a file count.
Licensing without noise
Each product page describes the included files and usage license before checkout. Our standard goal is simple project use without recurring per-project fees while keeping the source library itself out of redistribution channels.
Digital audio only
Soundhaven Lab sells downloadable WAV libraries, loops, one-shots, atmospheres, metadata, and documentation. No recorder, storage drive, headphones, or other physical equipment is shipped.
