Cookie Policy
Soundhaven Lab uses browser storage to run the audio store, remember choices, and understand whether previews and downloads perform correctly.
01. What the technology does
Cookies are small identifiers stored by a browser. Local storage and similar tools can perform comparable functions. They do not listen through your microphone, scan audio projects on your device, or identify which downloaded sample you use in a production.
02. Required session data
Essential cookies maintain the basket, connect checkout to an order, protect forms, prevent repeated transactions, balance traffic, and retain your consent status. These functions are necessary to provide the store and cannot be disabled through the optional-cookie panel.
03. Audio-preview preferences
Preference storage may remember preview volume, waveform display choices, or reduced animation settings. Where available, these records stay on your browser and make repeated listening more convenient. Removing them simply returns the player to its default state.
04. Analytics
With consent, measurement tools report aggregate events such as page views, preview starts, failed playback, and successful delivery screens. This helps us tune file descriptions and technical performance. Analytics data is not used to inspect your DAW sessions or catalogue the media projects you create.
05. External services
Some previews may be streamed through a specialist media host. Optional external content can establish its own cookies when activated. Payment providers also use required authentication and fraud-prevention technologies on their pages. Those providers decide their own purposes and retention periods.
06. Changing your choice
You can reject optional storage or reopen the consent control later. Browser settings can delete all stored values. If essential cookies are blocked, previews may still play but the basket, checkout, or order-return process may fail. Deleting cookies does not remove audio files already downloaded.
07. Retention
Store-session values usually expire when the session ends. Player preferences and cookie consent may remain for up to six months. Optional analytics identifiers are limited to thirteen months. Security evidence may be held longer where needed to investigate unauthorized activity.
08. Contact
